This Privacy Policy explains how WA Sender Tool ("the Extension", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares data when you install and use the Extension, and when you interact with our website at wasendertool.com.
WA Sender Tool is a Chrome extension that helps users send bulk, personalized WhatsApp messages from their own WhatsApp Web account, using a CSV contact list, message templates, and optional voice notes.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Data that stays on your device (never sent to us)
The following data is created and stored only locally, in your browser's extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own device. We do not have access to it, and it is never transmitted to our servers or to any third party:
- Contact lists you import from a CSV file (e.g., phone numbers, names, and any custom fields you include).
- Message templates you write and save for reuse.
- Campaign history and logs (e.g., which contacts were messaged, delivery status, timestamps).
- Blacklist / do-not-contact list you maintain.
- Pipeline / deals tracker entries, if you use that feature.
- App preferences, such as your selected language and onboarding status.
This data is removed if you clear your browser data or uninstall the Extension. We recommend you back up any CSV files you use, since we do not keep copies.
1.2 Data sent to our servers
We collect and process a limited set of data on our servers (wasendertool.com), described below.
a) Device identifier and license code (for license activation)
If you purchase a PRO subscription, the Extension generates a random, non-personally-identifying device ID and stores it locally. When you activate or periodically re-verify your license, we send this device ID together with your license code to our activation/verification API. This is used solely to:
- confirm your license is valid and active, and
- enforce the one-device-per-license limit of your plan.
We do not collect your name, email address, or WhatsApp account information through this process.
b) Message text (for the "Generate Variants" AI feature)
If you choose to use the optional "Generate message variants" feature, the message template text you are editing (and the number of variants requested) is sent to our server, which forwards it to our AI subprocessor, Lovable AI, solely to generate alternative phrasings of your message. This feature is opt-in — it only runs when you click the corresponding button.
- We recommend you avoid including your contacts' personal data (names, phone numbers, etc.) directly in the template text sent for variant generation.
- We do not use this text to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
c) Purchase and billing information
If you purchase a PRO license, payment is processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Stripe collects your payment details (e.g., card information) and billing contact information directly; we do not store your full card details on our servers. We receive limited transaction data from Stripe (e.g., purchase confirmation, plan type, subscription status) to activate and manage your license.
d) Standard technical/server logs
Like most web servers, our infrastructure automatically logs standard technical information for each request to our API (e.g., IP address, timestamp, request type) for security, abuse prevention, and debugging. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to build user profiles.
1.3 Voice note ("fake microphone") feature
If you use the voice-note sending feature, the audio file you select is decoded and played back entirely within your own browser tab, to emulate a live microphone input recognized by WhatsApp Web. This audio is never uploaded to our servers or to any third party — it is processed locally in memory only, for the duration of recording the voice note in WhatsApp Web.
1.4 Data shared with WhatsApp
The Extension operates within your own, already-authenticated WhatsApp Web session (web.whatsapp.com). It automates actions you could otherwise perform manually (opening chats, typing messages, attaching files, clicking send). Messages you send through the Extension are transmitted to WhatsApp/Meta in exactly the same way as if you had sent them manually — we do not separately collect or relay this content through our own servers. Your use of WhatsApp Web remains subject to WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the data described above only to:
- provide and operate the Extension's features (campaign sending, templates, history, blacklist, pipeline);
- activate, verify, and enforce PRO license entitlements;
- generate message variants when you request that feature;
- process payments and manage subscriptions;
- maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of our services;
- provide customer support when you contact us.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
3. Third Parties We Share Data With

We do not share your CSV contact lists, message history, or blacklist with any of the above — that data never leaves your device.
Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy and may be required to disclose data to comply with law.
4. Data Retention
- Local data (contacts, templates, history, blacklist, pipeline): retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the Extension.
- Device ID / license records: retained for as long as your license is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for support and fraud-prevention purposes.
- Server logs: retained for a limited period (typically no more than 90 days) before automatic deletion.
- AI variant-generation requests: not retained by us beyond what is necessary to return the response to you; please refer to Lovable AI's policy for their retention practices.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Since most of your data stays on your own device, you can exercise many of these rights yourself by using the Extension's built-in delete/clear options, or by uninstalling it.
For anything held on our servers (e.g., your license/device record), you can contact us using the details in Section 8 to request access or deletion.
6. Children's Privacy
WA Sender Tool is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures (such as encrypted connections) to protect data in transit to our servers. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
